Welcome to The Grazing Goat Public House & Hotel
Situated on the quaint New Quebec Street which provides rare tranquility in this part of London, this grand and unique hidden gem is tucked away from bustling Oxford Street and only a short walk from Marble Arch and Hyde Park. This beautifully restored building sits on the land where Lady Portman once grazed her goats.
Not much to look at, admittedly. But in our hands it becomes the ULTIMATE FEEL-GOOD FOOD. Perhaps it’s the way we use only locally sourced potatoes and make our mash fresh for every person. Perhaps it’s the delicious choice of organic sausages, gourmet pies and TASTY GRAVIES that accompany it. Or maybe it’s just that FRESHLY-MADE MASH makes everyone feel good. Whatever it is, at Mother Mash you can expect HEART-WARMING, HAPPY, soul food every day of the week.
Le Bistro Savoir Faire 42 New Oxford Street London WC1 A1EP
This is neither a chain restaurant nor a franchise, it is a family owned and run restaurant and has been in business since 1995.
We cook all our food, sauces, bread, pates and desserts on the premises. Everything is homemade with fresh and natural ingredients. If we can’t make it, we don’t have it! We never use precooked food, flavour enhancers or preservatives. We only use natural butter, cholesterol free oils or olive oil.
Our wine has been sourced from the best wine producing countries in the world and the wine list has been put together with care, to offer the best value for money wines. The price you see is all you pay. There are no hidden charges and all the meals come with vegetables and a basket of freshly baked bread. We have no happy hour or buy one get one free. We try to give the highest quality food at the lowest possible price. There are very few restaurants that can make this claim.
Established in the early 1800s, The Colonel Fawcett provided a refuge for all manner of Victorian England’s more macabre characters. It harboured an unlikely band of brigands and thieves taking leave from their plunder and pillaging of the countries highways alongside soldiers of the Empire, returned to a London much removed from the one they left when they sailed from the mouth of this city’s great river.

Opened in 2012, our first solo adventure is a tiny restaurant serving traditional middle eastern food, the kind you find in people’s homes using the best ingredient we can get our hands on. There’s always lamb roasting in the oven, salads & tahini with everything, lots of cakes on the counter, jams and cookies on the shelves if you want to take something sweet with you, and Rachael on the floor with a big smile and a cheesy joke.

Having both trained at The Intercontinental Hotel Park Lane, Simon under the renowned Chef Peter Kronberg, they both decided to hone their skills on their own restaurant in Swiss Cottage London.
The style of the food is best described as Great British with a French Accent, with the majority of seasonal produce coming from around the British Isles. Our fish comes daily from Brixham Devon and our lamb and beef from the West Country as well as our oysters from Ireland.
The original Ottolenghi location opened its doors in 2002 and hasn’t stopped since. Managing our busy deli is Luana, who’s passionate about organising and designing any catering request, from small office lunches to large wedding receptions.
There is a table at the back of our Notting Hill branch which seats 10 people but food and pastries are generally bought to take-away here. We don’t take reservations and, unfortunately, do not have a customer toilet.
We should start by saying that we're brothers-in-law. We both had careers which were going along nicely until 2002 when we met Jerome - one of France's best oyster farmers. We had to leave our other careers behind and get these oysters out there.
Back then, in the UK, oysters were eaten by a select few in expensive restaurants. It was all very stuffy and formal and not much fun.
We thought they should be available to everyone. That was, and still is, our big idea.

Pancakes. It’s simple and honest food. They trigger memories of growing up; of good times shared around the stove, or, as in many countries, of evenings spent at the local pancake house. Seeking the same experience in London, we couldn’t find a place to experience the kind of dishes that fuse the ancient art of baking pancakes with modern food trends . This paved the way to Where The Pancakes Are…. a not so traditional pancake house.
Pancakes are an ideal meal any time of the day or a perfect snack to revive the spirit - after school, after work, after the gym, after a gig. We serve nutritious buttermilk pancakes – savoury or sweet, each dish a feast of colour and flavour, made with heaps of tender loving care.
We try to do things the right way at Hawksmoor, not because it’s trendy and cool or because we’re natural tree-huggers or hippy peaceniks. We do it because we want to – it’s the kind of company we want to be and the kind of restaurants we want to run. We want a business we can be proud of – whether that’s making sure the food we serve is as good as possible, that the animals lived a decent life, or that everyone who works with us enjoys what they do.
The lower ground floor at Yauatcha Soho is a dynamic and spacious candlelit dining area, with twinkling overhead lights and a vibrant, romantic atmosphere. We are passionate about offering the finest fish and chips the UK has to offer, we use the freshest fish from sustainable British waters, delivered daily and cooked to order in our special home-made batter. Importantly we change our oil up to 8 times a week, to ensure the freshest, tastiest dishes, we like to think no other chippy in the country matches this. Our potatoes are sourced weekly from the Fenlands of East Anglia, peeled and cut ourselves and fried once, the traditional way, and our fabulous fishcakes and pies are home-made in our restaurant daily and have received rave reviews.
The Goddard’s Pie and Mash business was founded in 1890 by Alfred Goddard in Evelyn Street, Deptford, London.
Alfred worked hard to build up his business and his reputation during the early years when pie mash and liquor shops really started to become popular. Alfred passed the business to his two sons Robert (Bob) and George in 1936. In 1952, another shop was opened in Greenwich at the same time as the Cutty Sark was placed in dry dock. For a time, pies were cooked in the Deptford shop and transported by van to Greenwich. After a couple of years the two brothers decided to take one shop each and Bob Goddard (our grandfather) took the Greenwich shop while his brother remained in Deptford.

We have great quality specialty coffee made with our unique Lantana House Blend & our own range of house made cakes. Our delicious healthy menu for lunch & dinner has lots of plant based options & our bar can offer a great spot for after work drinks too with cocktails, fine wines & craft ales.
Everyone is welcome to come to Bar Kick, Shoreditch and play table football! We always leave a few tables unreserved so everyone has their chance to play. We take reservations for football tables for groups of 10 or more. Reservations are free, but the tables take £1 per game.
We believe everybody deserves to enjoy good bread every single day. That’s why we bake sourdough for neighbourhoods in and around London — insisting on the finest ingredients, tending to our decades-old starters, and following traditional methods passed down over hundreds of years. We bake by hand with natural ingredients, and whilst we are ordinary people, we want to make extraordinary things. We want to play our part to bring humanity back into the food world, back to local communities. We can’t imagine doing anything more gratifying than baking our, and your, bread.
Single origin coffee is a coffee that’s sourced from one single producer, crop, or region in one country. Single farm and single estate mean that the coffee is sourced from one farm, mill, or co-operative. The important thing about single origin is its traceability. You know exactly where the coffee is from and that it is a specific coffee and not a blend. A single origin’s flavour profile depicts the origin’s characteristics of where this coffee was grown.
College friends Julian Metcalfe and Sinclair Beecham were sick of processed food and impersonal service so they opened the very first Pret A Manger in 75B Victoria Street. It promised simple, delicious food served by friendly, motivated staff.
